The short version
We keep only what we need to answer you. We never sell your information and we do not show ads in ClientLine.
What we store
- Your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
- Your chats: your questions and the answers you received, including replies from a person.
- The information each site gives us so the helper can answer (prices, plans, how things work), and the answers the business teaches it.
- If a business already knows you (for example you asked it about a website), the details it shared with us, such as your name, business name, phone number and project status, so we can recognise you and greet you.
- Site owners: their site details and billing facts (payment dates and amounts). We never see card details; Flutterwave handles payment.
- A sign-in cookie on your device, and the emails we send you (sign-in codes, replies, reminders).
Who sees it
You see your own chats. The business you asked, and the ClientLine team who run the service, can see the chat so they can answer you. We do not sell or rent your information. We use a few trusted services to run ClientLine: hosting, a database, email delivery, a text service that drafts the answers (it is sent your question and the site's information), and Flutterwave for payments. They process information only to do that job.
How long we keep it
Chats are deleted automatically after a set time (90 days unless a site says otherwise).
How to delete your information
You can delete any chat yourself with the "Delete this chat" button at the top of the chat. To have everything about you removed, including your email, tell us on the Contact us page or email support@promptmaker.cloud from the address you signed in with. We will delete it and confirm by email.
Website visits, Meta Pixel and cookies
On our public pages (the home page, prices and these legal pages) we count visits ourselves: the page, where the visit came from (for example an ad link) and a random visit number. We do not store your IP address or name for this.
These public pages also use the Meta Pixel from Meta (Facebook), which can set cookies in your browser. It tells us when someone views a page or sends our sign-up form after seeing one of our Facebook ads, so we can see which ads work. We do not send Meta your name, email, phone number or anything you type. Meta may combine this with what it already knows about you under its own privacy policy. The Pixel is not used in chats, business dashboards or admin pages. You can limit this with your browser's cookie settings or your Facebook ad settings.
Your rights
ClientLine is run from South Africa and we follow the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
