What ClientLine is
ClientLine is one place to ask questions about the websites and services you use. A helper answers from the information each business gives us. When it is not sure, a real person from that business replies in the same chat.
Using it
Use ClientLine to ask honest questions. Please do not use it to send anything unlawful, abusive or misleading, and do not try to break or overload it. We may stop access for anyone who does.
Answers can be wrong
The helper answers only from the business information it has, and it can still make mistakes. Check anything important, such as prices, dates and what is included, with the business before you pay or decide. Answers are not legal, financial or professional advice.
Your chats
You can read your chat history and delete a chat yourself at any time. How we look after your information is explained in our Privacy page.
Business owners: plans and payments
ClientLine is for South African businesses and is billed in rand (ZAR). Plans: Chat R99 a month (your website chat); Voice R990 a month (your own phone number answered by your receptionist, 300 minutes of calls and 50 SMS a month included; extra SMS R250 per 100); Chat + Voice R1,089 a month; optional Your own branding R300 a month. Reasonable use applies; if your use is very high we talk to you before anything changes. The Phone plan includes website chat. Bookings are captured as requests that you confirm. No card or payment details are taken at sign-up. Your 14 days free start when we set you up; at the end you get an invoice by email with a Pay now button (secure card payment by Yoco, or a Flutterwave link). Nothing is charged automatically.
Every plan starts with 14 days free. Nothing is charged during the trial. Before it ends we email you an invoice with a Pay now button. Each payment gives one month. If a payment is late your line keeps working for 7 more days, then pauses; your information is not deleted when it pauses. You can cancel any time and it keeps working until the end of the month you paid for.
Phone numbers are registered by ClientLine and stay ClientLine's numbers; we keep your ID and proof of address on file because South African phone rules require it. Payments are taken on a secure payment page; we never see your card details.
Changes
We may improve ClientLine and update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using ClientLine after a change, you accept it.
